Maybe this is a different conversation all together but… What do we all think of bartering as a viable digital currency? I previously worked for a start up here in Buffalo that basically gave items a digital value and then you could trade other businesses for good and services. So a form of crypto but not totally?
The only reason it fell apart is because basically, the overall US operations tried to grow to quickly. It's a system that really worked well, especially in the city of good neighbors, but takes people time to understand and trust.
Maybe this is the new thread: In the current world of inflation and over consumerism, could we really look at bartering as currency?
